Community Guidelines
Racebuilds isn't just a marketplace - it's a community for buying and selling. And a community is only as good as its members. Here are some simple guidelines to follow.
Good vibes. No assholes
This one's first, because it matters more than you think. Car culture is just as much about the people as it is about the cars. Whether you're discussing a sale or interacting with the community, keep things respectful and positive. There are lots of places on the internet to be an ass - this ain't it.
Be transparent
There's nothing worse than getting your hands on a part only to discover the previous owner didn't mention that minor detail about it being fully and irrecoverably broken. When you're selling, be up front about the good, the bad and the ugly. In some cases, disclosing all issues may make it harder to sell, but think of it as good karma for when it's your turn to buy.
Be responsive
Sellers that respond quickly make more money. Buyers that respond quickly get better parts. Turn on SMS notifications by adding your phone number in your account settings so you get notified immediately if someone purchases your items or sends you a message.
